Logging in to your Client Portal

The RuttenTech Client portal is the website that you are currently viewing this article in. (hopefully!) You can visit it anytime by visiting http://portal.ruttentech.com.

Once you are here, some pages (like this one) are public, but many features are only available to you once you have logged in to the system. To log in, you will need your email address and client password.

The short way: If you have our client welcome email (subject = "Welcome to RuttenTech") then you can simply use the details listed in this email. Click on the "login" link on the top right of the screen, enter your details and away you go!.

A slightly longer way:  If you don't have your login details hand - you can recover them yourself of have one of our friendly staff re-send the message to you.  Recovering the info yourself has the advantage of being a little quicker as it is largely automatic.  Getting your info back yourself using the same two things, your email address and your client password.

1) Your Email Address: most people have more than one email address - but you must use the email address that is registered in our client support system. You can check which one that is by simply going through your old email and looking for the address that we sent our last invoice or system notice to.

If you simply don't know which email address that is, don't panic - please contact our office. Our staff will respond as quickly as possible - but please be patient, we are a small business and even geeks need to sleep occasionally!

2) Password: this one is much easier. If you know your email address but don't know your password, just click on the login page to "password reminder".  You can type in your email address (from #1 above and our super customer Robot will resend your passwords to that address.  Easy!

NOTE: - your password for your client portal is different to your normal email address password. (yep, I know it's a pain keeping track of all these passwords, but them's the breaks living in our super digital age!)
